It is possible to control the pointer on the screen using this small device. This little mouse ring is called the Genius Ring Mouse and despite its small size, early indications are that it is going to be quite big.
This device benefits from some great new technology and would not have been possible a few years ago. Of the people who have actually tried this new device out, most of them have admitted that they only now realise how inconvenient our standard computer mouse is. It might be the case that we are all using this new device in a couple of years.
Because we have become used to our standard mouse over the decades, it will take a while to get used to this new device. Once you get the hang of it though, the Genius Ring Mouse is easy to use and just seems to work better than the standard mouse. An optical track pad is used for navigation using your thumb.

To make it possible for us to carry out all the other functions that the standard mouse allows us to do, the Genius Ring Mouse also has a tiny left and right button.
